Director, Tax
The Director, Tax will be responsible for planning and managing the Company’s worldwide tax strategy. This position will also have responsibility for ensuring compliance with all tax requirements Companywide, including reviewing all tax filings, annual returns and estimated payments. This position will also conduct tax research and engage in special projects, as needed. This position will interact with the Company’s external auditors, outside tax specialists as well as upper management. This position reports directly to the Vice President, Finance.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Prepare and maintain a tax planning strategy to accommodate the Company’s long-term global strategy.
2. Develop and maintain a tax planning model to forecast the Company’s overall tax rate.
3. Review and file all tax filings for all Company entities.
4. Prepare related requirements such as tax provision.
5. Research and determine transfer pricing between entities.
6. Assist in developing, refining and testing tax related policies, procedures and internal controls as it relates to the Company’s compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley Section 404.
7. Develop procedures in response to new tax pronouncements and guidance by IRS and other governmental agencies.
8. Assist CFO and Vice President, Finance in special projects as necessary.

Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Tax, Accounting or related major; advanced degree a plus
• CPA with a major public accounting firm is required
• Related tax planning & compliance experience with a major accounting firm is required
• Minimum of 8 years directly related experience
• Strong technical tax accounting and research skills
• Experience with implementation of procedures and controls as it relates to Sarbanes-Oxley
• Detail oriented, ability to multi-task
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Pro-active and independent
Salary: $140,000 - $160,000,   Total Exp: 8+ yrs Tax + Mgt,   Location: Irvine
