Job Description
Business Consulting professionals focus on strategy and take responsibility for organizational change and business transformation. The Retail Merchandising, Hardlines - Consulting Senior Manager will be responsible for leading complex hardlines merchandising engagements for some of the world's largest retailers.

Key responsibilities may include:

• Influence senior executive levels at our premier retail accounts. Manage large scale change.

• Directing a large team of managers and consultants in the development of fact-based models and decision frameworks for complex merchandising engagements

• Directing people in how to combine detailed data to facilitate decision making

• Planning and managing Application Assessment and Requirements activities
• Assisting clients in defining key capabilities / requirements that will enable their strategy

• Determining the project approach, staffing, responsibilities, and schedule

• Presenting findings to senior executive levels at our premier retail accounts.

• Ability to travel 100%

Basic Qualifications:

• 6 years of retail merchandising and assortment planning experience

• 4 years of hardlines merchandising and assortment planning experience

• Experience with a large professional service organization

• Bachelors degree

Preferred Skills:

• Planning, promotion and space management experience

• Knowledge of retail supply chain

Professional Skill Requirements

• Requires the ability to develop, articulate and measure a business case.

• Strong process knowledge of Retail hardlines demand processes

• Ability to be flexible and work in a problem solving environment

• Strong supervisory, coaching and project management experience

• Strong communication skills
